While working on a problem statement for her Master’s thesis and interning at Launchspace, Madhavi found herself spending days inside the quietest yet most powerful place we had ever been — the All India Institute for Speech and Hearing (AIISH).

In that silence, she heard more than ever before.

She met children who had never said “Hello” — but smiled ear to ear when it was their turn in a game.
She saw adults who struggled with speech… light up as they made their move and got a pat on the back.
She saw confidence being built — not through words, but through play.

All these insights provided us with a larger mission at UNBOX:
