Before You Can Find a Point, You Must Learn to Go Left

Riya loved drawing.

Grids, squares, patterns.

Her notebook margins were full of little boxes and lines.

But the day her teacher introduced coordinate geometry, her confidence quietly slipped.

Riya froze.
